Coronation Select

Coronation Minor Hockey Association is pleased to offer a 'Select' hockey programme. Select is an extension of House League play offering a higher caliber of competition for interested players.

Select is open to any House League player registered in Novice, Atom, PeeWee or Bantam with tryouts being held in October or early November for each season. Select is NOT a program covered by House League fees. The cost per player for Select can run from $150 to $300. This will vary depending on the number of sponsors and the fund raising efforts each team is willing to undertake.

Teams generally consist of 15 skaters and 2 goalies. Games are usually played against teams within the City of Hamilton, but each team will usually enter 3 or 4 tournaments throughout the season. Select teams will generally see an additional 4 to 6 hours of ice time per month above and beyond the regular scheduled House League games and practices. Select is a fun way for your child to develop additional skills and play other teams in friendly competition.
